The Average Cost of a New Born Baby

Posted on 7:02 am by PreggNet Team Bookmark and Share

Having a new born baby can become a very big celebration in a family. At the same time this can go out of hand and one may become a spend thrift. Costs of having a new born baby can be quite high. But after the baby is born the costs are still going to increase. There are several expenses to take care of. Some of the expenses are medical, toys, diapers, clothes and food.
Medical expenses such as vaccination and regular checkups can be strenuous and tough on your pocket. But keeping up with them will help your child in a great manner. Though new born babies cannot play with the toys, several parents actually enjoy seeing their child interact with one. Diapers are of two types. The type made of cloth can be cost effective but will require a lot of labour work. The disposable diapers will help them to keep a baby free from any wetness but it is too costly. Clothes of various sizes and for various ages can be very hard on the parents. By the time they select and buy a new set of clothes the child is already grown.
While all these may put a lot of pressure on a parent’s pocket, none of them worry about it as the love and joy they experience covers it up.

You are quite right, Julia. But please consider that it's hard to evaluate exact numbers when talking about the cost of a baby, since every family is different.

The average cost of a baby is totally different in India, and the united states, for an example. Or even if you compare certain stats in America or even certain neighborhoods, the numbers are completely different.

That said, in the following weeks we will strive to fulfill your curiosity and get some rough numbers in a series of articles. Please bare with us as we have just launched the site this week, and are still working on better content and information.

    Best,

It is true, you cannot just compute how much a baby would cost because every family has a different attitudes on spending their money towards their children. The truth about this is that a baby can't be tagged with a price, for every parent, their child is worth everything to them.
