Methods of Childbirth
1. Vaginal delivery or normal method is the most common and safest type of childbirth.
2. Forceps delivery- used to help guide the baby through birth canal
3. Vacuum delivery- A plastic cup is used to the baby’s head to gently pull the baby.
4. Caesarean delivery may be necessary if the following complications arise:
a. The baby is in distress
b. The baby is too large to pass through the pelvis
